To restart Ephesoft Transact on Premise open the Task Manager of the Ephesoft server machine.

Select the service "EphesoftTransact", using your mouse, right click on "EphesoftTransact" and select "Restart" from the menu.
This will restart your service, which can take up to 5 minutes.
